This was my first go at actually trying to see if my device worked in a scientific fashion. I had come up with the concept of the device too late in the summer to do any growing outside, so the sole option I held was to build something to do it indoors
This was the last group photo I took before an adorable maniac Maine Coon named Lucy decided to destroy the entire thing
These are marigolds, the control group is the center cup. The other 4 groups are seeds that were put in my device for varying lengths of time
I will largely focus on the top left cup and the center cup. This is the progress over 2 months of the control group compared to the cup that responded the strongest to the device
And likely not so coincidentally, this group that responded far and away the best to my device was the group grown from seeds I subjected to my device the longest

A couple weeks further on, I did what I could to give identical conditions. Water, temperature, light, defense from rabid cats

And a month into the race that has started to look a bit lopsided

I understand the bad growing conditions, I am not an agronomist. This was my first guess at my device and I was trapped inside by a Midwest winter
