The Godzilla Maple That Shames Other Neighborhood Trees

There is another peculiar event that may be attached to this. My very humble tree growing crazy fast

And it relates to THE SALT ACCIDENT

You can see the initial weird event in the link above.  This is an adjunct event

This maple tree gives good shade, and as such last year some of the healthiest green grass in my yard was within about 15 feet of this tree

In an effort to get more proof of the accelerated growth of grass using a saline solution from my salt since mid-July 2020 I have used what I figure is 6 to 7 gallons of solution on the footprint of this maple's root structure

In the past year this tree has experienced an increase in crown diameter of something close to 7 feet

These are two other red maples, planted the same time when this neighborhood was built in 2007

They are as close as you can get to what should be identical growing conditions.  One is roughly 60 feet southeast, the other about 30 feet farther south

My maple has a leafy crown volume of something like 9300 cubic feet (I measured the diameter of the broadest portion of the leaf crown and applied the sphere equation)

The two other maples I measured to have leafy crown volumes of roughly 2200 and 3300 cubic feet going by the same metrics

Aside from a very clear divergence in growth of these trees there is another very peculiar thing. I first started running my device in late summer 2019.  This photo was taken November 4, 2019

The color change came in autumn as happens, the leaves fell off the other two a couple weeks prior to this photo. Then mine chose to be stubborn and hold onto the leaves for about an extra month. This tree had not done that once in the years before I built my device and started running it, but a couple months after I did my maple was dead set against dropping leaves

At this point aside from not dropping leaves, all 3 trees seem roughly similar in size.  This was less than 22 months prior to the most recent photo

I want to say, hey coincidence, it is a weird thing. How many weird things happen near my device before it becomes an obvious pattern?

A couple weeks further on in November, 2019

Still holding onto leaves where the other maples have shed their leaves a month gone

This also demonstrates better in late 2019 how similar in size these 3 maples were

This is a Google Street image from early  October, 2019.  They claim copyright, but it is a copyright of my tree and house, so I am good using it
